Rainy-Day Things to Do

Most indoor picks are 10–25 minutes from our properties

When the forecast turns rainy, we redirect guests to a small set of indoor and covered options. Here's what we'd actually suggest — not just everything that exists.

Stay in the neighborhood

  • Historic St. Andrews — small district of cafés, galleries, antique shops, and seafood spots, walkable from each other. A calm rainy afternoon plan.
  • Downtown Panama City — the Riverwalk plus a small collection of indoor venues, coffee shops, and restaurants.

Family / kids

  • WonderWorks Panama City Beach — indoor edutainment, hands-on. Strongest for ages 5–13.
  • Pier Park's indoor stores + multiplex cinema — comfortable, mostly covered.
  • Bowling, arcades, indoor mini-golf — several scattered along Back Beach Road.

Adults

  • A long lunch at a covered Grand Lagoon seafood spot.
  • A brewery taproom or local roaster — Panama City has several worth a slow afternoon.
  • The cinema at Pier Park.

FAQs

Are there indoor things for kids near your properties?

Yes — WonderWorks Panama City Beach and Pier Park's covered areas are the main ones. Both are about 20–25 minutes from our properties.
